Maximo CMMS application version 7 is at end of life as of September 2025. With UCSF Health Facilities Business Applications Team spearheading, this project entails upgrade of the existing UCSF Maximo 7.6 system to a newer architecture called Maximo Application Suite version 9 (MAS 9).

Every year, in the last week of October, we celebrate the important role that facility team members have in ensuring a safe and efficient environment for all patients, residents, visitors and staff within hospitals.
Applying 5s at Parnassus
September, 2025
In September 2025, with construction of new hospital, Facilities team relocated to the basement level of UCSF Long Hospital. The new environment presented significant operational challenges. Spaces were smaller, unfamiliar to staff, and lacked organization and storage capacity to support operations. These conditions underscored the need for a structured improvement effort.
