Scope
The water management plan (WMP) outlines procedures for minimizing the risk of disease associated with the water systems at one site. The water systems on the site are described in tables and flow diagrams. Assessment of the systems is outlined in the Hazard Analysis.
Hospital Accredidation Standards
- EC.02.05.02 The hospital has a water management program that addresses Legionella and other waterborne pathogens.
Committee/Structure
- Chairs: Associate Directors of Facilities (Alan Ladwiniec and Brian Hassett)
- Members: HEIP, EH&S, Hospitality, Safety, Sterile Processing, Clinical Nursing, Nutrition Food Service, Campus Landscaping, Facilities Leadership, Vendors (Garratt Callahan and Forensic Analysis).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Reviews and approve process improvement initiatives, updates to code, changes to infrastructure, new equipment that are associated to buildings managed under Health Facilities and flow diagrams listed in the HACCP Plan.
