Scope
The Building Utilities Plan is designed to promote a safe, controlled, and comfortable environment of care through the provision and maintenance of adequate and appropriate utility services and infrastructure.
Objectives
Ensure the operational reliability of all UCSF Health utility systems.
Ensure all utility management processes are performed in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Monitor utility management data to proactively identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
Through the utilization of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (IBM Maximo), all Facilities Staff adheres to system procedures when performing preventative maintenance or un-scheduled repairs on systems and equipment.
