Ericka is the Associate Facilities Director at the UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay, where she is responsible for leading the facilities management team there. She supports the Mission Bay campus by overseeing facilities policies and operational programs that span preventative maintenance and emergency management. Prior to joining UCSF, Ericka worked in operations leadership roles within biotech startup environments, with direct responsibility for Facilities and Environmental Health and Safety programs in lab intensive settings. Her experience includes supporting & building complex laboratory infrastructure, managing vendors and service partners, and establishing operational programs to meet regulatory, safety, and business continuity requirements. Ericka holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from San Francisco State University.

Gabe is a facilities and construction professional with over 20 years of experience in commercial building maintenance, remodels, and construction. He is bilingual in English and Spanish and has extensive hands-on knowledge in HVAC, electrical (high and low voltage), plumbing, life safety systems, and California Building Code compliance. Gabe has held leadership roles supervising large teams, managing preventive maintenance programs, responding to site emergencies, and overseeing construction projects—especially in healthcare and high-demand environments. He takes pride in his attention to detail, craftsmanship, strong work ethic, and ability to manage multiple projects while delivering excellent customer service.
